GNU Free Documentation License How should a church treat newcomers and people who attend alone? Q. Should a church act extra friendly towards them or no different? At a few churches I've attended alone and felt almost like I was in the way at times (not sure if it's in my mind or if it's just truly an unwelcoming church). That best fits the UNITY or the Unitarian Universalist church's. They believe Truth is relative to what ever makes them feel good, and nothing is condemned in their view. They embrace all religions, sexual orientation, and philosophies, teaching quotes from all the different books, & displaying all the symbols of each belief, I am not of the opinion that being "cool" now will translate to acceptance later. All life roads do lead to a singular door, with each believing their particular path was right using their interpretation of cool. This singular door is referred to as Deaths Door, and on the other side, Truth is waiting for each of us.
