How do I clean shower doors and tracks?
Q. I am currently renting an apartment and have shower doors in my bathroom, these things are GROSS. I completely forgot to clean out the tracks the doors run on all year long. Now they like fill up with water and sometimes over flow when I shower. The bottoms of the tracks are covered with a brownish/redish gunk. Any ideas on how to clean this? Oh ya the bottom of the doors are also like brown!!! Discusting I know any help would be amazing!!!

A. Put hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle & let it sit for about 10 min. Reapply 2 or 3 more times. This breaks up a lot of the build up. Then use an old tooth brush and scrape out what you can. Then spinkle some baking soda in the track & fill up the track with white distilled vinegar. Let this also sit for about 10 min. This mixture will bubble up & run down your tub. Be sure to put old towels along the outside bottom of your tub to catch it. This will spill out any of the gunk that was left over, but you will have to scrub again with a tooth brush, then rinse with water & dry with towel. This mixture of stuff really works on this kind of thing & it's non-toxic. I hope this helps. Good luck & God bless.
