What colour suites should the groomsmen wear, if the groom is wearing a chocolate brown suite?
Q. The groom is wearing a chocolate brown suite with a cream vest and tie. He doesn`t want the groomsmen to be in the same colour as him. The bridesmaids will be wearing burnt orange and lime green. What colour should the groomsmen wear, could they wear black suites with ties and vests that match the bridesmaids or a tan/beige/khaki suite with matching vests and tie to the bridesmaids.

If I start wearing my retainer 24/7 will the gaps in my teeth be fixed again?
Q. I wore my retainer off in on when I was supposed to be wearing it at all times for a four month time period. Now there are slight gaps in my teeth again. If I were to wear my retainer 24/7 again, will my teeth return to how they were when they were fixed by two years of braces?
Asked by Chester - Sun Jun 20 23:51:59 2010 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Any minor gaps can most likely be tightened up if you start wearing your retainer again, yes. Still, it is a very good idea to go see your orthodontist. You need someone experienced to look into your mouth in order to accurately answer this question for you. Don't worry - orthodontists see this type of thing happening all the time. It would be good for you to go in and see if your retainer needs any adjustment so that it can do the best job possible in getting your gaps tightened up asap. Good Luck! P.S - Here are a few links about retainers and retainer care if you want to learn more:

When should I start wearing skirts or dresses to skating practice?
Q. I'm in Gamma. I was wondering when should I start wearing skirts or dresses. I wear a jacket and skating pants right now. So, I wonder when would be the appropriate time to wear skirts or dresses. Also, what dress or skirt would you reccomend.

A. The time to start wearing skating skirts and dresses is when you start to feel comfortable in them and not like a fool. Most skaters, yes, you're a skater, wear stretchy athletic pants, yoga pants, jeans or even just leggings to learn to skate in. Those are all fine. Once you feel confident enough and you know you are not always falling down, you will want to start wearing a skirt with a t-shirt and jacket. Then you might transition to a lycra or panne velvet skating dress once in a while. Check in your rink's pro shop for practice skirts, dresses and warm Mondor skating tights. How long after wearing braces is it neccesary to wear a retainer?
Q. My husband had his braces removed 9 years ago and was wearing a retainer since then. He recently lost his retainer, does he really still need it?
Asked by ginger - Thu Mar 8 06:07:55 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. A retainer is needed especially on the lower due to the strength of the tongue, it has a tendency to push the teeth out of alignment even after many years of having orthodontic treatment completed. He may want to consider having a fixed retainer placed on the lower, just so he doesn't loose it again and for peace of mind. Although most orthodontist now prefer that their patients have a fixed retainer placed on the lowers as it eliminates "the loss of retainers," "movement or shifting of teeth" and it's "permanently fixed in the mouth." He probably should see his orthodontist or dentist to have it evaluated before too long, once they shift, a retainer can't really put them back. I'm sure he would hate to have to do ortho again. All of the skirts I wear are already lined, are made of thick fabric or are really loose and billowy so its impossible to see any trace of my underwear. I've always found slips unnecessary, plus the feel of the fabrics they're usually made of all over my legs REALLY creeps me out for some reason. How do you feel when wearing a short skirt?
Q. I am just wondering how women feel when wearing a short skirt? As a crossdresser, I have never tried on something to short. I tried a mini skirt this morning and felt flirtious, but also kind of exposed. I would not have enough confidence to wear it outside, b/c I would be worried about how to manuever. Is wearing a mini skirt natural to women, or do you learn over time.
Asked by girlygurl23 - Wed Mar 4 11:20:37 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. As a fellow crossdresser, I have similar reservations about wearing a mini in public. It feels great wearing one in private and makes you feel super confident and girly, but then I think about going outdoors and it's a different story. But then I thought the same the first time I ever wore any item of women's clothing and over time that's almost gone entirely now. Hopefully as I wear a mini around the house more, I'll learn how to look more natural in it and not expose myself at every opportunity. Having said that, I don't think I'd ever wear a mini skirt out in public unless it was to a club because TVs in mini skirts look extremely obvious.

Q. Okay I got this project for school where I have to come up with a marketing campaign for long white gloves (they are satin, opera-length, regular gloves with fingers). I need to find out what the positive aspects are to wearing long white gloves. Please help! Obviously these gloves aren't going to be for wearing in cold weather. I always felt that women look the most beautiful and elegant when they wear gloves, they're so classy and feminine. Those gloves make you stand out of the rest of the other girls and they compliment very well a nice evening gown. Have you ever worn such gloves? I find it a true delight. Here are some of the glove wearer's benefits: * Gloves are considered a bright, original and attractive fashion statement. * Quite a few men feel attracted by them. * As they are gloves, they keep your hands and arms warm. * Hands and nails are well protected. * Your… [cont.]

What is the origin of sports players wearing black armbands?
Q. Sports players will frequently wear black armbands to commemorate the death of a teammate or close colleague - for instance, the Liverpool/Manchester City players are wearing them today in memory of the Motherwell captain who passed away yesterday. My question(s) are: (a) Where did the wearing of black armbands first originate? Would I be correct in guessing that it's something to do with the military? (b) When was the first recorded instance of sports players wearing black armbands?

A. The wearing of black armbands is a custom which originated in Ancient Egypt and came to the West through Republican Rome, when the Toga pulla made of dark-coloured wool was worn during periods of mourning. I dont know when it was first used by sportsmen.

Q. When did u start to wear makeup everyday? I've been wearing makeup every single day of my life since I'm 18 years old - Foundation, Mascara, Eyeliner, Lipstick - Basically full face makeup. So I'd just like to know at what age did you start wearing makeup everyday?

What is the women wearing under the bottom eyelid?
Q. I have seen a lot of women wearing a color under their bottom eyelid, not on the line above the hairs where most of us wear our eyeliner, but under the complete eye. Can someone tell me what is this and how to apply it. I seem to think it will run or smudge. Thanks for any help.

A. This can be either eyeliner or eyeshadow. Eye liner is applied below the lower lashes just as it is above them. The eyeshadow is applied with a thin brush or tip, darker at the outside corners and sweeping in. If you decide to do this, be SURE that you have no bags under your eyes as this will enhance those bags. (They can be reduced with a hemorrhoid or skin tightening cream.) Generally the color used under the eye should be the same lighter accent color used in the corners of the eye and possibly the crease, but should not be the same color as the eyelid itself.

How can you make it look like your wearing eyeliner without actually wearing it?
Q. I'm afraid to wear eyeliner. If i have anything close to my eyes i freak out but i like the way eyeliner looks on people. Is there a way to look like your wearing eyeliner without actually wearing it?

A. get some black eye shadow and use your finger tips to apply it right on your bottom eye lashes, it looks pretty much exactly like eye liner

How often do you wear a belt? Do you always wear a belt when wearing jeans?
Q. How often do you wear a belt? Do you always wear a belt when wearing jeans?

A. Usually. I like my jeans a little on the loose and comfy side, so I kinda need a belt. I have a canvas one that wear most of the time; keep 'em up but doesn't ever feel too tight. I've got a nicer leather one for when I need to dress up. Shorts are usually beltless, though. Jeans too sometimes if they're not likely to slide down (too far) and I just don't feel like it. What do you do about wearing a belt?
